Package A – Abstract & Programme Management

Online Tools for Participants

  • Suggestion of sessions, session titles or conveners during a Call-for-Programme programme;
  • Abstract submission via ASCII / LaTeX forms as well as via MS WORD templates incl. an automatic editing into an uniform "journal-like" style;
  • Abstract update & withdrawal;
  • Financial or travel support application.

Online Tools for Session Organizers / Programme Committee Members

  • Session suggestion & implementation of suggestions during a Call-for-Programme programme;
  • Composition of a Call-for-Paper programme;
  • Ranking of support applications;
  • Acceptance, transfer, upload or rejection of contributions;
  • Oral vs. poster selection;
  • Finalization of the session programme by adopting time schedules.

Online Programme

All tools run on the online system Copernicus Office Meeting Organizer. After the scheduling the system provides:

  • the automatic scheduling of all sessions & lectures;
  • the complete meeting programme, sort by topics or days incl. a search engine;
  • the automat to compile a personal programme for the individual interests.

The Outcomes of Package A

  • The official meeting website;
  • The above mentioned online programme incl. all abstract PDF files;
  • The master PDF file of a programme book to be printed & distributed;
  • The master CD of an abstract CD-Rom to be duplicated & distributed.

All data will be permanently stored in the Copernicus Office database for later applications & services (management & administration of the next meeting's programme, etc.). The Package A enfolds by default the composition of a specific meeting website on the Copernicus Meetings Server including the support by a webmaster.

Prices and Additional Services

The services of Package A will currently be charged via a flat rate of €36 per abstract submitted or re-submitted (excl. VAT). The printing of the programme book and/or the pressing of the abstract CD-Rom can be organized by Copernicus Meetings and will be charged separately at maker's price.
