Information - TS7.3 Crustal evolution and orogenic processes from geochronology and thermochronology of detrital minearls
Event Information
Geochronology, thermochronology and geochemistry of deterial minerals provide an original perspective on processes shaping the continental lithosphere. This session will gather scientists seeking to explore crustal evolution and orogenic processes via the detrital sedimentary record. Topics such as crustal growth and evolution, the evolving architecture of recent and ancient orogenic belts, erosion and exhumation processes, sedimentation in foreland basins, constraints on plate reconstruction, environmental aspects of the detrital record as well as reviews of state of the art analytical techniques are solicited.
