Information - OS1 Open Session on Coastal and Shelf Oceanography

Event Information
The purpose of this session is to improve our knowledge about various aspects of functioning of shelf seas. In this session we encourage discussions of pump-priming projects and innovative ideas. This session also provides a forum for exchange of expertise related to the process studies and inter-disciplinary research relevant to the shelf seas .We welcome studies on the physical processes, which provide mechanisms for shelf -deep sea exchanges as well as implications of climate change for shelf sea dynamics. This year we will specifically welcome the presentations that show the links between physical and bio-geo-chemical processes. Contributions are invited on both theoretical and observational aspects of the coastal ocean/shelf seas.
