  Information - CL004 Large-scale climate modes in the Northern Hemisphere

Event Information
This session will include studies on identification, origin, mechanisms, variability, predictability and impacts of the large-scale climate modes and regimes in the Northern Hemisphere. Among the modes covered are the North Atlantic Oscillation, the Arctic Oscillation/Northern Annular Mode, the Pacific-North American pattern, the Pacific Decadal Oscillation, and the Atlantic Multidecadal Oscillation. Factors and mechanisms driving or changing these modes are particularly welcome.
