Please note that the live presentation file must be uploaded by 15 September 2025, 13:00 CEST at the very latest. While presentation files will be used specifically for your presentation, we encourage you in addition to share your findings in the form of supplementary materials. In preparation for the presentation, please ensure that the correct author is assigned presenting author for the abstract. Contact and presenting authors can upload the files for their abstract.

Oral presentation upload

  • All presenters must upload their live presentation file by 15 September 2025, 13:00 CEST.
  • Slides should be prepared in the cinema 16:9 format!
  • The live presentation file can either be uploaded by the contact author (who submitted the abstract) or the nominated presenting author of the abstract.
  • A paid conference registration is mandatory for the person uploading the presentation file in order to access the upload tool.
  • The presentation files can be in *.pdf, *.ppt/pptx, *.pps/ppsx, *.png, or *.jpg format. The file size is limited to 50 MB per abstract. For video files (*.mp4), please contact meetings@copernicus.org.

All speakers who are going to present from the main stage in the Plenary may be reminded that their talks will be streamed live via the BASE YouTube channel.

Poster presentation upload and poster pitches

Poster presentation file

  • We encourage authors to upload their poster presentation file to make it more accessible to all participants.
  • The poster presentation will be accessible online to all registered conference participants during the conference days.
  • Please note that posters must be printed and brought to the conference for the on-site poster session.
  • Poster format should be A0 portrait.
  • A paid conference registration is mandatory for the person uploading the presentation file in order to access the upload tool.
  • The presentation files can be in *.pdf, *.ppt/pptx, *.pps/ppsx, *.png, or *.jpg. The file size is limited to 50 MB per abstract.

Poster pitch slide

  • Poster authors are asked to give a short poster pitch presentation in designated sessions.
  • Please prepare a one-slide *.pdf- file to summarize/advertise your poster during this poster pitch time.
  • Files can be uploaded via the presentation upload. Upload deadline is 15 September 2025, 13:00 CEST.
  • This file will not be accessible to the public, it will only be presented in the lecture room.

Supplementary materials and commenting

  • All authors are encouraged to upload supplementary materials to accompany their abstracts. These can be uploaded until 19 October 2025 and will be made available for the public via the conference programme. Modifications are possible throughout this period.
  • Supplementary materials can be in *.pdf, *.ppt/pptx, *.pps/ppsx, *.png, *.jpg, or *.mp4 format and hosted by Copernicus, or they can be a *.html linked on the SafeND2025 programme but hosted on the author's own infrastructure. If *.mp4 files are uploaded, these will be submitted to Vimeo.
  • In addition to the supplementary materials, authors can provide a DOI or URL linking to a presentation they have pre-recorded and submitted to portals like YouTube.
  • The file size of supplementary materials is limited to 50 MB per abstract for *.pdf, *.ppt/pptx, *.pps/ppsx, *.png, or *.jpg files, and to 200 MB for a *.mp4 video file.
  • Registered conference attendees can comment on uploaded supplementary materials through the conference platform until 19 October 2025, unless the abstract authors have opted out of the commenting feature.
