The European Planetary Science Congress 2009 represents a cooperation between the European Planetary Network and the European Geosciences Union. The meeting will take place at the Kongresshotel am Templiner See from 13 – 18 September 2009. This attractive location is particularly suitable for workshop sessions. As with the highly successful First European Planetary Science Congress in 2006, it provides an attractive platform to exchange and present results, develop new ideas and to network the planetary science community in Europe. It will have a distinctively interactive style, with a mix of talks, workshops and posters, intended to provide a stimulating environment for the community to meet. The meeting will cover the whole scope of planetary science.

The meeting is held in cooperation with the European Geosciences Union.
The official language of the European Planetary Science Congress 2009 is English. Simultaneous interpretation is not provided. It is therefore expected that authors are able to present their research more or less fluently in the English language.
