Press Room Facilities

The press room is located on the Blue Level (Basement) of the Austria Center Vienna, and it is opened from Monday – Friday, 13 – 18 April 2008. The Press Room will be run by:

The press facilities include the standard technical facilities for such events. They include a room for general press conferences and special thematic sessions, several side rooms to give journalists and scientists the opportunity for interviews and detailed briefings, and a communication room. The communication room is equipped with phones, a fax machine, an overhead projector, Mini-Disk sound recorder, microphones, amplifier, speakers, computers with broadband (including wireless) internet access and printer, and a photocopy machine. The Austria Center contains two fully equipped radio studios and one tv studio, which are available on request. Wireless LAN will be available also in other areas at the congress center. Breakfast and lunch will be provided in the press room from Monday to Friday on a complimentary basis.
