Excursion

During the EGU General Assembly 2006, on Thursday, 6 April 2006,  Mathias Harzhauser, Michael Wagreich and Werner E. Piller will organize an excursion entitled: "Vienna Basin Excursion".

15:00Stop 1: Nexing, Lower Austria
A Sarmatian Flood-Tidal Delta and its Internal Structure on a Middle Miocene Oolite-Shoal
16:00Stop 2: Maustrenk, Lower Austria
Sarmatian Bryozoan-Algal pools and Oolite shoals
17:00Visit a traditional wine cellar
20:00Return to the Congress Center
