Information - SM21 Research and Development in Nuclear Explosion Monitoring (co-listed in AS)

Event Information
This session focuses on research and development in nuclear explosion monitoring in all fields, known to be relevant with regard to the detection of signals emanating from a nuclear explosion event. Therefore papers demonstrating enhanced capabilities in detection, location, and characterization of nuclear explosions by fundamental research for algorithms and data in one of the relevant fields (i.e., seismology, infrasound- and hydro-acoustics, nuclear physics, and atmospheric backtracking) but also in the integration (fusion) of the related technologies are strongly encouraged. These papers may also address different modelling approaches, various data collections, uncertainty analysis, and nuclear monitoring problems from historic nuclear explosions.

Preliminary List of Solicited Speakers
Bass, H.; Andre, B.: High-altitude infrasound propagation experiment.
