Event Information
Modelling, data-assimilation and source-sink inversion for operational atmospheric composition on global and regional scales is developing rapidly worldwide including, within the GMES initiative in Europe, such projects as GEMS and PROMOTE. The purpose of the session is to review the state of the art in modelling data-assimilation and inversion, using both satellite and in-situ data, in the domains of green-house gases, reactive gases, aerosols and regional air quality.
