Since stable isotope analytical techniques are developing steadily, with introduction of new or improved technologies and methods, this session provides a platform where such developments can be presented.
Aim is to have presentations on preparation steps or tools (off-line and on-line type), measuring tools (e.g. IRMS, optical spectrometers, SIMS, MC-ICP-MS, TIMS, to name the most common) and analytical procedures related to the analytical instrumentation (metrology is in a separate session: IG4).
Included are presentations of new instrumentation, improved instrumentation, and reporting of experience with/performance of instrumentation. Presentations showing results of new instrumentation under development or in testing stage are also very wecome.
An open discussion on development of instrumentation in the future is planned at the end of the session, with the aim to have discussion between providers of tools and users.
Pre-registration for the short course was closed at 31 January 2007.
It is decided that registration still will be possible during the
meeting. A list will be placed at one of the boards in the hall of the meeting
Centre in Vienna, where you still can register up to Thursday late afternoon.
The short course will be on Friday, 20 April, 2007.
