Event Information
Reconstructing past climates and earth system response to climate and environmental change relies heavily on precise and accurate chronologies. Advances have been made in recent years on a range of geochronological techniques that are applicable to the Quaternary.
In this session, applications are particularly welcome that (1) use established geochronological methods to answer new questions, (2) use new methods to address longstanding issues, or (3) combine different chronometric techniques for improved results. Applications may aim to understand long term landscape evolution, provide rates of geomorphological processes, or provide chronologies for records of climate change.
