Information - ERE5 Climate change impact on economical and industrial activities (co-listed in CL)
Event Information
Climate change is under way and even if mitigation measures are taken, impacts are to be expected. Societal and economical activities will have to adapt, and it has been shown that anticipation leads to much lower costs. But adaptation needs first to have as reliable as possible evaluations of the potential impacts of climate change on the concerned activities. This session aims at gathering all studies dealing with evaluation of climate change impacts on economical and industrial activities, such as tourism, large industries, energy production and consumption, as well as all other human activities which could be impacted.
