Information - SPM07 Output standards for simulations of regional climate
Event Information
A variety of regional-climate simulation projects exist worldwide. Experience with the AR4 GCMs suggests that common standards for formatting output from regional simulations should promote broader analysis of the output. It should also promote cross-comparisons between regional climate projects. The purpose of this splinter group is to convene representatives from major regional climate-change programs such as ENSEMBLES and NARCCAP, as well as other interested individuals, to discuss developing and implementing common standards for regional-climate output.
