Information - NP7.03 Wind-Wave interactions and mixing
Event Information
The session will be dedicated to investigate and expose the links between oscilatory behaviour and external and internal accelerations and flows. the role of wind and currents on wave structure and the way in which the non steady forcing produces turbulent cascades that may produce mixing and diffusion will be discussed. Water surface waves, Internal waves, Ocean and Atmospheric shear and inertial waves, all modify the turbulent cascade in ways, which are not well understood.
