  Information - TP4 Modelling Mercury

Event Information
There are numerous formation and environment models of Mercury addressing the unusual features of the planet, like its high density, indicative of a large metallic core, its lack of atmosphere, the measured magnetic field, the apparently low FeO surface abundance, and many others. This session on Mercury models will focus on which observables have to be established in order to distinguish between the different models.

The session will be organized as a discussion workshop. Introductory talks will be given by invited speakers. Contributed papers will be in form of poster presentations or computer simulations.

We encourage participants to prepare among posters also in-situ demonstrations of there models.
