The media session in Ljubljana will cover the following topics:
· TV weather forecasts (also video clips with comments will be presented, but no video clips without exhaustive comment will be accepted)
· media and climate change issue
· how to present a climatological information in an appealing way for the media and general public
· warnings in case of severe weather events, role of different media in warning system, a single voice concept
· use of internet as efficient and very popular media in meteorology
· monthly meteorological bulletins (most of the national meteorological services are issuing printed and/or digital bulletins) and meteorological annals (purpose, present and future)
· the role of radio as a traditional media for spreading weather data and forecasts
· the role of spoken person within the National weather services, why do we need them?
