Information - BG5.05 Environmental Micropaleontology: microfossils as proxies of recent and past environmental change (co-listed in CL)
Event Information
This symposium, listed under number BG5.05 of the Bio-Geociences session, will merge all studies on fossilisable micro-organisms that highlight their role as proxies for reconstructing recent and past environmental changes. As such, we expect papers where microfossils are used as proxies of environmental change in the past and present, but also studies where the same methods are used to better define the impact of anthropological pollution.
Important note: like last year in this symposium high priority will be given to students and young scientists, who will have as far as possible the occasion to present new results orally.
