Event Information
Due to the fact that both Weather and Climate have no borders, Climate programmes and projects generally need to be addressed in cooperation, especially at international level.

This session will provide a forum for:
- informing about, and promoting, ongoing projects (structure, topics addressed, objectives, offer to join, ...);
- informing about new results from these projects (IPCC summaries for policymakers and technical summaries are good examples of what is expected);
- launching new proposals related to Climate, especially those focussing on Europe, such as WMO/RA VI and IPCC, EU, EUMETNET/ECSN, … projects.

Contributions are equally sought from both the research and operational communities to facilitate discussion, exchange of experience, and possible cooperation.

Papers are solicited on topics such as Climate Data and Management, Climate Monitoring, Analysis of Climate Variability and Change, Climate Information and Prediction Services, and Climate Applications and Services.

Description of Projects and expected outcomes, international Showcases, international Databases, Access to spatially distributed climate information by the Internet, Data Policies, Data Rescue, … are examples of relevant topics.
