Information - TS7.5 The tectonics and dynamics of subduction: from shallow to deep processes

Event Information
This session aims to bring together researchers exploring plate subduction from both observational and theoretical perspectives. Fluid flow, brittle and ductile deformation, physcial transformations in material processes, the seismic cycle, and metamorphic hydration-dehydration-melting processes all play important roles in the dynamics of subduction zones. We hope this session will have presentations on the full range of processes operating in both shallow and deeper regions of subduction zones and so provide a forum where researchers can interact with their broader subduction research community.
