Information - C2.3 Small Scale Processes in the Mesosphere/Lower Thermosphere Region
Event Information
We invite contributions to all aspects of small scale processes in the mesosphere and lower thermosphere (MLT) region. In particular, we encourage contributions describing either experimental and/or theoretical/modeling work on the following subjects:
1) Gravity wave propagation, breakdown, and turbulence generation in the MLT region
2) Layered phenomena in the MLT region: noctilucent clouds, (polar) mesosphere summer echoes, (polar) mesosphere winter echoes, and particle layers in the MLT region
3) Utilization of layered phenomena for the characterization of the background atmosphere
4) Radar echoes from the equatorial mesosphere
5) Plasma instabilities
