This Union session has been established to underline the launch of the 7th RTD Framework Programme of the European Commission.
The speakers will focus on the environmental challenges that are to be addressed in the 7th RTD Framework Programme.
Exceptionally, the EGU Union session has been organised in the lunch period to allow as many EGU-Vienna attendees as possible to be fully informed about the 7th RTD Frame work programme.
The director of the Environment Directorate, Directorate General for Research, Ms Manuela Soares, will provide the keynote address and a question and answer session will be organised for the end of the session.
