Information - CL13/CL39 Large-scale climate modes in the Northern Hemisphere / Atmospheric teleconnections
Event Information
This session will include studies on identification, mechanisms, variability, predictability, trends, and impacts of the large-scale climate modes and regimes in the Northern Hemisphere.
Among the modes covered are the North Atlantic Oscillation, the Arctic Oscillation/Northern Annular Mode, the Pacific-North American pattern, the Pacific Decadal Oscillation, and the Atlantic Multidecadal Oscillation.
Papers on mechanisms driving or changing these modes are particularly welcome.
