Information - ST16 Results from the DEMETER satellite
Event Information
DEMETER is a low-altitude satellite (660 km) on a polar and circular orbit which has been launched in June 2004. Its scientific payload consists of wave and plasma experiments. The aim of this session is to present main results obtained by this satellite regarding the ionospheric topics. It could include: observations during magnetic storms and during thunderstorm activities, observations related to man-made activities (PLHR, VLF transmitters), and active experiments.
