The session on High Mountain Geomorphology may offer an opportunity to bring together studies of different processes operating within the high mountain domain, and to consider their interactions. It deals with glaciology and glaciogeomorphology, glaciofluvial and fluvial geomorphology, periglacial forms and processes, all this induced by high and steep relief, debris flows and land slides also in connection with mountain hazards.
