Information - TM3 IODP - ICDP joint Townhall meeting

Event Information
The aim of the joint IODP-ICDP Townhall meeting is to gather the scientific communities interested in scientific drilling. The Integrated Ocean Drilling Program (IODP) and the International Continental Scientific Drilling Program (ICDP) have a complementary approach in addressing key questions in Earth Sciences. Both programs investigate climate change, solid earth cycles and geodynamics, and the nature of the deep biosphere through drilling/coring, downhole measurements and long term monitoring of boreholes.

Ulrich Harms (ICDP) and Julian Pearce (IODP) will provide updates on future plans for drilling operations, workshops and associated activities, and will answer any questions.

These updates will be presented in a friendly atmosphere, around a glass of wine or beer.
