The session focuses on the magnetic variability of the Sun and the heliosphere. Helioseismology including solar oscillations, wave propagation and/or modeling and observational techniques as well as the consequences for heliospheric physics are the main topics. Contributions addressing present theories, observations or envisaged future prospects are wellcome.
