Information - PM1 Icy Bodies in the Outer Solar System: Formation, Evolution and Internal Structure

Event Information
This session will be dedicated to outer planet satellites and icy dwarf planets beyond Neptune.
The session focuses on the presentation of data acquired either by spacecraft (e.g., Galileo, Cassini, New Horizons) or Earth-based observations and theoretical models that may provide important links between surface features and the geodynamics of the deep interior.
The session will include solicited, contributed, and poster presentations addressing (1) interior structure, (2) compositional and thermal evolution, (3) surface geology and composition, and (4) orbital dynamics and satellite interaction.
We particularly encourage contributions focusing on comparative planetology and numerical modeling of cryovolcanism, internal differentiation, magnetic field generation, and general evolution scenarios of icy bodies.
