Information - AS3.19 Process studies of trace gases and aerosols in simulation chambers
Event Information
Observations of traces gases and aerosols in the troposphere are often difficult since field experiments can be disturbed by nearby sources, transport phenomena and unreliable weather conditions. In order to overcome these difficulties simulation chambers studies have shown to be helpful. In the last years, many experiments were performed in established and new simulation chambers. Since 2004 the EUROCHAMP project within the EU 6th Framework Programme aims to make better use of simulation chambers by opening up access to a wider range of researchers (see http://www.eurochamp.org for details). The project supports scientists of from all over Europe to use the experimental facilities, and provides the necessary training and funding. In this session, we like to provide a platform for presentations on all atmosphere simulation chamber activities.
