Report - CL13/CL29 EPICA ice cores and Quaternary Earth System Dynamics (co-listed in CR, OS & BG)

Report
this was a very successful session, the more so after we combined the more data-oriented EPICA session with the model-Based Quaternary dynamics session. We had a full programme of 16 talks, and 41 posters. The large room was almost full in the morning and two-thirds full in the afternoon. Many people from outside the usual palaeo community were in attendance, and we received complimentary comments about the session quality. We also had a very well-attended poster session, although we might mention that, with a full day of talks, it is undesirable to have the poster session the same day, as it restricts the available viewing time to just 1.5 hours - not enough for those particularly interested in a topic.
