Report - CL6 Past atmospheric circulation

Report
CL6 attracted 5 oral presentations and 12 posters in room 14. It was organized under the umbrella of PAGES as a preliminary starter of an initiative on "Past atmospheric circulation" managed through a series of workshop worldwide. 12 minutes sharp were allocated to the speakers and the program was organized by leaving one speaking slot to the dust-loess session afterwards. The attendance in the room was varying between 6/5 to 4/5 of the total capacity of the room, 6/5 representing people who didn't find any place available standing seated on the floor or standing up along walls or in the back of the room. The third convener Thorsten Kiefer animated the poster session successfully. A special issue of Climate of the Past will be organized collecting papers presented during this session.
