33 years after the last fly-by of Mercury by the Mariner 10 spacecraft, 2008 will be the starting point of a new comprehensive phase of investigations 0f the planet nearest to the Sun. The first event will by the fly-by of the MESSENGER spacecraft in January 2008.
Besides from first results of the MESSENGER fly-by, we invite contributions on ground based observations, modelling work, and expected science return of future space missions.
