This session will focus on the new results obtained by the successfully operating remote-sensing (SECCHI) and in-situ instrument suites (IMPACT, PLASTIC, SWAVES) onboard the twin STEREO spacecraft and on their theoretical modelling. STEREO observations contribute to a rich variety of different research topics in heliophysics and astronomy ranging from the development and application of image reconstruction methods, 3D visualization, analyses of multipoint in-situ observations, space weather applications, and stellar activity amongst others. The session is open to all these aspects, including correlated studies with other missions like Hinode, SOHO and ACE as well as with ground-based projects.
