In this session we encourage discussions of pump-priming projects and innovative ideas. This session also provides a forum for exchange of expertise related to the process studies and inter-disciplinary research relevant to the shelf seas .We welcome studies on the physical processes, which provide mechanisms for shelf -deep sea exchanges as well as implications of climate change for shelf sea dynamics. This year we will specifically welcome the presentations that show the links between physical and bio-geo-chemical processes. Contributions are invited on both theoretical and observational aspects of the coastal ocean/shelf seas.
