Information - IP03 Education in Atmospheric Sciences
Event Information
The session is intended to cover the place and role of meteorology in
education in Science as well as the possibilities and advances in
education of atmospheric sciences. Contributions dealing with appearance
of meteorology, climatology and hydrology in national curriculla on all
levels of education across the Europe and overseas are welcome.
We particularly encourage contributions presenting organisation of
education in meteorology and climatology in different countries,
presentations on new advances in education of atmospheric sciences, e.g.
computer aided learning, web based courses or other resources presenting
contemporary problems and tasks of atmospheric sciences will be
appreciated as well. On a different level, presentations on aspects of
professional training in national Meteorological Services are also welcome
as well as the presentations of educational aspects of EC and national
projects.
