Information - GMPV07 Metamorphic and magmatic trends in subduction/collision zones

With this cross-disciplinary Symposium we traditionally want to bring together modelers, observers, and experimentalists to outline spatial and temporal regularities in petrological, structural, and geochemical patterns related to the formation and evolution of metamorphic and magmatic systems in subduction/collision zones. What are observables for such regularities? What experimental constrains can we use to explain them? What are predictions from numerical models and how well can we correlate them with the nature? These are the main issues to be discussed at our Symposium. Contributions from petrological, geochemical and geodynamic communities are welcomed.
