Information - SSP5 Continental environmental perturbations during the Palaeozoic-Cenozoic: Geochemical and palynological proxies (co-listed in CL)
Event Information
The objective of this session is the reconstruction of palaeoenvironmental change in the marine and terrestrial biosphere by integrating palynological and geochemical techniques. To better understand the causes and consequences of palaeoenvironmental change during the Palaeozoic-Mesozoic Era and to provide a refined stratigraphic framework for certain intervals, we encourage contributions from different subdisciplines studying sedimentary environments from various perspectives including stable isotope and biomarker studies as well as studies with focus on palynology and palynostratigraphy.
