Information - TS13 Structure and dynamics of orogenic wedges
Event Information
There is a large theoretical and experimental background on the structure and dynamics of brittle and brittle-ductile orogenic wedges. However, many of the processes predicted by these studies still remain controversial or are difficult to recognise in the field. In this session we would like to bring together contributions that focus on the analysis of processes occurring in orogenic wedges, using different earth-science tools. We have a special interest in promoting the discussion and comparison between modelling and field observation studies.
