Information - G11 European cartographic heritage - Historical topographic and cadastral maps and their geodetic basis
Event Information
Contributions concerning the historical (cca. 1750-1920) European navigational, topographic and cadastral maps and their geodetic baseworks are welcome. A special focus to the georeferencing methods, eg. the grid and datum definitions of these maps and geodetic networks in modern GIS environment, is advised.
Obtaining a special issue of an English-language Hungarian journal (Acta Geodecita et Geophysica) for the session contribution is being discussed.
