Information - AS1.16 Stratospheric Dynamics and Chemistry
Event Information
We invite contributions looking into the variability and trends of dynamics and constituents (e.g. ozone) in the stratosphere, and how they are caused and related. Understanding the impact of natural and anthropogenic forcings on the stratosphere, and in particular the resulting consequences for variability and trends in dynamics and constituents are still a major challenge. Studies trying to disentangle signals of forcings, underlying mechanisms and interactions in dynamics and constituents from observational or model data would form welcome contributions to this session. Note that this session tries to encourage a broad cross-section of presentations relating to the above-mentioned theme, advancing our knowledge of interactions between different components of the stratospheric climate system.
