Information - AS3.12 Atmospheric Chemistry and Indoor Pollution

Event Information
This session aims to explore recent developments in our understanding of indoor air pollution. We aim to discuss the sources of pollutants indoors, their transformation in the indoor environment and the impact they have on health and well being once formed. We encourage contributions on the formation of indoor pollutants, both in the gas and aerosol phase and the important role that surfaces play indoors. We are particularly interested in new methods for measuring radical species indoors. We would also encourage presentations on the role of air-conditioning units on indoor air quality. The links between indoor air pollutants and health effects are not well understood at present and contributions aiding our understanding of these processes are also welcome. The scope of the session is to include reports on experimental as well as modelling studies.
