Information - VGP5 New monitoring techniques applied to active volcanoes

Event Information
In tandem with new surveillance methods, new techniques for data processing and modelling support real-time tracking of volcanic phenomena, and evaluation of hazard. Further the interesting panorama of techniques presented last year, we continue seeking contributions on the latest developments in instrumentation (including remote sensing, geodesy, seismology, geochemistry, thermal, gravity, geomagnetic and acoustic methods), data telemetry, processing, and modelling. We equally encourage reports of recent 'case studies' highlighting integration and/or interpretation of observations, the critical review of more 'classical' surveillance methods, and discussion of measurements that bridge the gap between different kinds of sensors and/or fields of applications (e.g., broadband seismometers, borehole sensors, OBS).
