Official Language

The official language of the 8th Plinius Conference on Mediterranean Storms and extreme events in an era of climate change is English. Simultaneous interpretation is not provided. It is therefore expected that authors are able to present their research more or less fluently in the English language.

Oral Presentations

The length of each oral presentation is 20 minutes (15 minutes talk and 5 minutes for questions).

Climate

It is usually fairly warm in October, with average maximum highs of 27°C and an average minimum of
18°C. We suggest you bring along comfortable walking shoes as well as a hat, sunglasses, bathing suit, sun protecting cream and a jacket for the evening.
