The European Planetary Science Congress 2010 represents a cooperation between the European Planetology Network and the European Geosciences Union. The meeting will take place at the Angelicum Centre – Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas in Rome, Italy from 19 – 24 September 2010. This attractive location is particularly suitable for workshop sessions. As with the highly successful First European Planetary Science Congress in 2006, it provides an attractive platform to exchange and present results, develop new ideas and to network the planetary science community in Europe. It will have a distinctively interactive style, with a mix of talks, workshops and posters, intended to provide a stimulating environment for the community to meet. The meeting will cover the whole scope of planetary science.
The official language of the European Planetary Science Congress 2010 is English. Simultaneous interpretation is not provided. It is therefore expected that authors are able to present their research more or less fluently in the English language.
