The European Planetary Science Congress 2008 represents a cooperation between the European Planetary Network and the European Geosciences Union. The meeting will take place at the Westfälische Wilhelms Universität, Schloßplatz 2, from 21 – 26 September 2008. This attractive location is particularly suitable for workshop sessions. It provides an attractive platform
to exchange and present results, develop new ideas and to network the planetary science community in Europe. It will have a distinctively interactive style, with a mix of talks, workshops and posters, intended to provide a stimulating environment for the community to meet. The meeting will cover
the whole scope of planetary science.
The meeting will take place at the Westfälische Wilhelms Universität (WWU), Schloßplatz 2, 48149 Münster, Germany from 21 – 26 September 2008.
The "EuroPlaNet" project is an EU supported initiative to strengthen and unify the European planetary science. A main objective of EuroPlaNet is to achieve a long term integration of planetary sciences in Europe through the networking of the European research groups.
