Location: Berlin, Dahlem, Seminaris Cube, Takustraße 39, 14195 Berlin, Germany
Workshop fee: €50
The workshop is sponsored by EumetCal to guarantee modest costs for interested participants.
EMS in collaboration with EumetCal is organising a course with the title Tools for Forecasting High Impact Weather. This course is primarily intended for forecasters, but other participants interested in the subject are also welcome.
During this course we will look at tools that forecasters have available in the forecasting office to support them when times get though in High Impact Weather Situations. Specialists will inform about the background of different tools and how to use them in the best manner.
The workshop consists of presentations, a demonstration and a lab session. If you have a laptop, please bring it for the lab session. We hope it will be an interactive and interesting day.
