Splinter Meeting Request
For Splinter Meetings organized by participants during the course of the conference, 23 – 27 April 2012, the EGU has reserved 8 extra rooms free of charge for the Splinter Meeting organizer(s). Please note, that these splinter meeting rooms are not available for booking as an extension of a session or a Poster Summary Discussion (PSD). These kind of requests will automatically be withdrawn. Conveners can request a PSD room in their Session Organizing Tool SOII from 30 January to 02 February 2012.

Each room is equipped with one PC/MAC projector (beamer).
For larger meetings, selected lecture rooms in the congress centre are available, but only from 19:00–20:00 every day.
For separate meetings outside the congress centre and/or outside of the course of the conference: there are meeting rooms of various sizes available at the near-by hotels (e.g. NH Danube City or Arcotel Kaiserwasser). The renting of such rooms has to be paid by the Splinter Meeting organizer(s).
The above 8 meeting rooms can be reserved for the following time blocks, whereby max. 2 successive time blocks can be blocked per Splinter Meeting:

Please study the Splinter Meeting overview first, if you wish to reserve a Splinter Meeting room. Your request will be handled by Copernicus Meetings on a first come - first served basis (Only those splinter meetings booked until 12 March 2012 will appear in the Information & Schedule Book). Your Splinter Meeting will be scheduled in the next few days and will then automatically be shown in the Splinter Meeting Overview. You will only be contacted by us in case any questions may arise.
