Registration
General Information
- Registration for the EGU General Assembly 2009 is by payment of the appropriate registration fee.
- There is no waiving of registration fees except for scientists receiving a Support Award or an Union/Union Division Award or Medal.
- Please, renew your membership in the EGU or in the AGU prior to your registration at membership rates!
- The registration fee includes the participation in the meeting, a free local transportation from Monday – Friday, 20 – 24 April 2009 (not valid for day tickets and accompanying persons), the information & schedules book and the abstract CD-Rom.

On-Site Registration
Besides the registration in advance of the conference, participants are also welcome to register on-site at the counters located in Hall Z of the congress centre:
- The Self-Service counters allow a payment by credit card only (American Express, Mastercard, JCB, or VISA). Please have your Copernicus Office User ID and the corresponding password at hand.
- The Staffed Registration counters allow a payment by cash in EURO or by credit card (American Express, Mastercard, JCB, or VISA).
- Cheques will not be accepted.
- You are kindly asked to renew your membership at least 3 weeks prior to the meeting.
On-site registration at on-site rates will be possible at the registration counters located in Hall Z at:

Conditions and Cancellation Policy
- Pre-registration must be accompanied by a payment, otherwise it will not be processed and the on-site registration rates will be taken as a basis.
- Registration fees are not transferable.
- Registration fees will only be refunded, if the notice of cancellation is received by Copernicus Meetings before 31 March 2009. The cancellation fee is €50.
- Cancellations after 31 March 2009 and no-shows are not eligible for a refund.

Once your payment has been effected you will be informed and receive your receipt. An invoice and/or a receipt can be obtained online via the Copernicus Office Trader. All registrations and membership subscriptions will be registered through the Copernicus Office administration tool which will also allow the registrants to monitor their input. |
