How to submit an extended abstract?
Thank you very much for your interest in the European Conference on Severe Storms 2015 (ECSS2015). Authors of accepted abstracts may submit an extended abstract in addition. In order to submit an extended abstract, please follow the guidelines below (deadline is 15 December 2015).- Use the link "Extended abstract submission".
- You are asked to login to the Copernicus Office Meeting Organizer. Please use the same account as for the initial contribution submission.
- Check the meta data (title, authors, affiliations). Please add all authors, as these data will be used for the programme and extended abstract generation.
- Upload your prepared extended abstract (PDF file).
- The online system will then embed your extended abstract PDF file in a template including the automatic generation of the actual header. The outcome is a complete abstract PDF file.
- If the conversion of your extended abstract fails, please specify your problems, we will then attend to them.
- Submit your extended abstract.
- Once you successfully upload your extended abstract, you will receive a confirmation email.
In case any questions arise, please contact us. meetings@copernicus.org
General Remarks
- Extended abstracts should comprise about 2-3 pages.
- Extended abstracts should be clear, concise and written in English with correct spelling and good sentence structure.
- We recommend that the extended abstract is carefully compiled and thoroughly checked, in particular with regard to the list of authors, before submission in order to avoid last-minute changes.
