Objectives of the Conference

Contributions from all fields of the Geosciences are welcome. In particular the conference will focus on the following topics:

• Cryosphere and hydrology;
• Climate, Climate Variability and Climate Change;
• Tectonics and Geodynamics.

Interdisciplinary themes include, but are not restricted to:

• Climate-Tectonics-Surface Processes;
• Water resources in future climate scenarios;
• Impact of subduction on tectonics, volcanism and atmospheric chemistry;
• Geo-Ecology and Global Change;
• Sustainable, environmentally friendly utilization of natural resources;
• Coping with incomplete data in geosciences;
• Risk in the geosciences.
